Seyhan is a registered Psychotherapist RSSW, MSW specializing in serving clients experiencing life changes, infertility, anxiety, and life transitions. With a honours degree in Human Rights and Equity Studies and an honours diploma in Social Service Work, Seyhan has been a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers since August 2022.
Seyhan utilizes motivational interviewing, a strengths-based approach, and narrative therapy to help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. With a wealth of clinical experience across a range of ages, from youth to older adults, Seyhan is committed to helping individuals from all demographics. Seyhan has worked for over 5 years frontline in sectors such as homeless, employment & outreach work.
In a past life Seyhan worked in many notable non-profits such as the John Howard Society in 2019 as a Residential Counsellor (ages 15-22) and Employment Advisor (serving all ages) for over four years. Seyhan has also worked on short-term projects as an Outreach Worker serving youth ages 12+ with 360Kids in Markham Ontario. As part of her advocacy Seyhan led and supported a project on Islamophobia and it’s affects in the GTA with Riverdale Immigrant Women’s Centre in 2023. For just over a year and a half Seyhan served as a Crisis and Resource Counsellor for Toronto Seniors Helpline, developed by WoodGreen Community Services ending the isolation and offering support to Seniors and their Caregivers. Most recently she has taken upon a leadership role as an Operational Manager for a small business in social services and is looking forward to returning to serving clients 1-1.
